How much does re-roofing cost in Auckland?
Re-roofing cost depends on the roof size and pitch, roofing system, access, edge protection or scaffolding requirements, and the condition of the structure beneath the existing roof. We inspect the property and provide a detailed written quote so you know what is included before work begins.
How long does a roof restoration take?
Most roof restorations take between 2 and 5 days depending on the size of your roof and the scope of work. This includes cleaning, any tile or ridge repairs, re-pointing and recoating. We give you a realistic timeframe with your quote.
Do I need an LBP or building consent for re-roofing?
Requirements depend on the type and scope of the roofing work. Work that requires an LBP is overseen by an LBP licensed roofer, and we will explain any documentation or council requirements that apply to the project.
Is it better to restore or replace my roof?
It depends on the age and condition of the roof. If the roof structure and roofing system are still suitable but the surface is weathered, a restoration can be a cost-effective option. If the underlay, fixings or overall condition mean replacement is the better investment, we will say so at the site inspection.
