Blocked gutters are one of the most common causes of roof and ceiling damage we get called to. Once water cannot get away it backs up under the tiles and into the fascia. Clearing them out once or twice a year costs a fraction of what the damage does.
We clear them by hand rather than flushing everything into the downpipes, and accessible downpipes are checked for flow before we leave.

Worth knowing
When to get them done
Once a year is enough for most houses. Twice if you have trees close by, and the second one is best done at the end of autumn, before the winter rain arrives and finds every blockage for you.
- Overflowing in heavy rain is the obvious sign, but staining down the fascia is the early one
- Plants growing in the gutter means it has been full long enough to hold soil
- If water is already getting inside, that is a leak, not a gutter clean — see leaks & repairs
- We recommend an annual clean — ask about booking it in alongside a moss treatment
